Help us to help Ukraine

SCAS + oursupport4ukraine partnership

Who are we?

We are a small group of people in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and London with families, friends and loved ones who are right now fighting for their lives. We are deeply concerned about the entire situation in Ukraine.

Most of our Ukrainian cities, towns and villages are being destroyed. As we speak, our loved ones are hiding from bombs, missiles, vacuum bombs, and aggressive, relentless military assault. Many have been left without a roof over the head. People are fleeing, leaving with nothing but the shirt on their back.

We feel a particular responsibility to help, at a grassroots level, by providing humanitarian aid to:

  • Ukrainians on the ground in Ukraine. We are fortunate to have a strong network on the ground in Ukraine in some of the worst hit areas. To date we have been able to get aid into these towns and cities.

Please help us to get the aid to people who need it the most. All the money we raise will get used effectively to move supplies into Ukraine, whatever you give will make a big difference.

How can you get involved?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT

Please note, as the situation in Ukraine unfolds, requirements change. We are committed to updating the required item list weekly.

We are also collecting money (see QR code below) for a few things mainly:

  • Storage: people have been extremely generous and the volume of donations is huge. Through our network we have established a number of collection points, all with HGV Lorry access so lorries and vans heading for Poland and Ukraine can pull right up and pick up the donations.
  • Vehicles (hire, fuel, ferry crossings and food for the drivers). To get one van to Poland/Ukraine and back costs from £1700 (EUR 1900). To get one 20/40 tons lorry to Ukraine and back costs from £2000 (EUR 2200), the price depends on the fuel cost.

Please note: Our drivers are vetted, as are all our contacts in Poland and Ukraine receiving the goods.
